Coming back from lunch today, I saw the sign for this new orthopedic walk-in center that just opened up in Dover (pardon the amateur photography – taken from a car).
It turns out that Dr. Eric Schwartz (awesome name, no relation) thought it would be a good idea to open up a walk-in clinic dedicated to orthopedic injuries. Orthopedic injuries are things like broken bones, but they are also conditions like sprains, strains and dislocations. The sign indicates that they are available to treat sports injuries, on-the-job injuries and auto accident injuries, which will be helpful to a lot of my clients.
The name of the clinic is OrthoREADY and it is located at 230 Beiser Boulevard in Dover. The hours listed on the clinic’s website are 9 am – 6 pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 3 pm – 6 pm Wednesdays and 4 pm – 6 pm Fridays. I googled it, and here is a link to the website: http://deortho.com/ortho-ready/
I have to say, if I was injured in a car accident, I would probably rather see Dr. Schwartz at the OrthoREADY walk-in clinic than go sit in the ER for six hours.
